Hans von Heilbronn is a gorgeous 2.5 year old long haired German Shepherd mixed with Teddy Bear. Hans has thick bones typical for the coated shepherds; he weighs around 70 pounds. You can't help but hug him when you meet him, his beautiful coat is so inviting. He's on the mellow side and is good with people and other dogs. Hans lost his home when he was too nice to be a guard dog for a business. Which of course makes him an ideal candidate for adoption into a family. Hans has the typical 'slightly aloof' personality shepherds are known for, and his friendship must be earned - so please don't dismiss him just because he doesn't jump in your lap right away. (most shepherds don't) But he loves the volunteers and will make an excellent and loyal pet for his new family.
